Born and Bred Washingtonian

Dr. Sara Cassidy was raised in Spokane, Washington. As the daughter of a third generation dentist who was also the first female dentist in Spokane, Sara realized early on that she wanted to pursue a career in medicine. She studied classical piano, danced ballet & skied for the Mt. Spokane ski team. Her schooling then took her to Santa Clara University where she earned a B.S. in Combined Sciences & spent a year abroad studying in Italy.

Despite growing up among dentists, it wasn't until college that Dr. Sara decided her passion for medicine & art was a perfect fit for Orthodontics. She received her D.D.S from the University of Washington & subsequently completed a one year General Practice Residency through Swedish Hospital in Seattle. Dr. Cassidy returned to the University of Washington to complete a two and a half year residency specializing in Orthodontics & earning a Masters in Dentistry.

In her free time she loves to spend time with her husband & chocolate lab, travel, run, ski, play the piano, dance, draw, & scuba dive.
